A developmentally age-appropriate and environmentally-friendly setting encourages curiosity, exploration, discovery and a love for learning. We are a Christian preschool committed to educating and loving children in the name of Jesus Christ. We support families by providing exemplary preschool education and preparing the child for a successful future. Subsequent elementary schools are always appreciative of The Early School nurtured child. “We can always spot an El Montecito Early School student. She is respectful, ready to learn, kind and so well-behaved” is the traditional statement made by incoming kindergarten teachers. Our students love to learn and are happy in our caring setting.
Additionally, we incorporate the use of the outdoor classroom into our daily curriculum, giving the children an opportunity to enjoy and better understand nature and God’s creation.
Parent involvement is always encouraged in the classroom setting as well as the school as a whole. We have many events you can participate in from class parties to our Parent Teacher Fellowship committee to service learning projects or just to come in and read a story! You are always welcome in our school.
